Morgan Otey is a passionate educator who recently transitioned into administration as the Dean of Students. She holds a degree in Social Studies Education from the University of North Dakota and an additional licensure in Teaching English as a Second Language from Hamline University. Morgan’s teaching career began in an alternative setting in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where she first encountered restorative justice and trauma-informed teaching—approaches that have deeply influenced her work and philosophy. A strong believer in the power of relationships and mentorship, these values continue to guide her as she navigates her role in administration.
In her downtime, Morgan enjoys a variety of activities including skiing, playing video games, creating art, and spending quality time with her partner, Isela, and their pets.
